The theme that plays during the battle with Iseultalon is " Horrors of the Night" from Final Fantasy XV. To this end they need to make sure they handle Fatal Current properly, stack with him when Iseultalon uses Needle Shot, and spread out for Thunderbolt. The duty will fail if Noctis dies, so the player needs to minimize the damage he takes from AoEs. It will always use two Tail Whips in a row, with the safe zone of the second Tail Whip being on the opposite side of the first. Tail Whip is a short range AoE with a safe zone on either its right or left side. Only the first strike is telegraphed, so players will need to use the pattern to judge the area of the second strike. The first strike can be avoided by standing between the pinstripes the second can only be avoided by moving outside of the rectangle, which will also avoid the first strike. Death Ray strikes twice, first in a pinstripe pattern across a rectangular area, followed by a strike covering the whole rectangle. It will immediately follow this up with Death Ray. On occasion Iseultalon will use Stomp to jump to one end of the arena, dealing minor area-wide damage. Noctis will move to absorb one of the pillars, so the player needs to take note of which one he is moving towards and go to the other. Following this Iseultalon will summon two pillars. If the player is not in its area when it dissipates, it will explode shortly afterwards with a Fatal Current, dealing large area-wide damage and inflicting a dispellable Vulnerability Up debuff. Iseultalon will summon a pillar, in which the player needs to stand until it dissipates, taking minor damage from Electrocution. Iseultalon has several abilities with large area of effects, the most dangerous of which is Fatal Current.
